Situated on a quiet street with established native trees around to provide shelter and shade.
Native birds and trees are a delight around the bach
Double doors open up onto deck to allow the cool summer breezes through.

Everything is within walking distance on Rakino, closest to Woody Bay beach. Very safe swiming.
Many great fishing spots, picnic locations, and quiet places to reflect or read a book.

Rakino has no reticulated power or water, the bach has lots of water and has a solar power system. Will cope with moderate power consumption.
Gas hob/oven, water heating and large gas fridge.
Wood burner for snuggling up if the evening is cooler - Firewood with the bach.

To get to Rakino, Auckland Water Taxi's have scheduled services, that are similar to ferry prices but with more convenient times. Pine Harbour Ferries operate from Pine Harbour - but on a limited schedule of only twice a week - but bigger boats for the less intrepid sailor.
