Waoku Lodge provides privacy, discretion and attention to detail that is unsurpassed. Set in native bush, on the side of Mt Karioi, with breathtaking views over Whale Bay and the Tasman Sea. Just 5 minutes from world famous surf beaches and 10 minutes from Raglan's cafes, restaurants and funky shops. Small considerations, including fresh fruit, flowers and home made treats, are typical of the attention to detail that defines the Waoku experience.

Matangi is a luxury apartment, luxuriously furnished with an open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge and equipped to the highest of standards. Impressive decking surrounds the apartment, providing outdoor living areas for guests. With views into native bush at tree-top level, extending to sea views from the deck.

If Moana, the adjacent apartment, is unoccupied, guests staying at Matangi may have exclusive use of the large spa-pool but Matangi guests do not have a dedicated spa-pool for their exclusive use.

The apartment has two Queen size bedrooms, a fold-down bed may be available and a cot can be booked in advance; the bathroom has a double shower; whilst the open-plan indoor living area has full Sky TV channels, Bose sound systems, DVD player and the hosts have made available their growing DVD and CD collection for guests added enjoyment. A full room service menu and a well stocked mini-bar are available for guests convenience.
