The Horizon Lodge

The Horizon is a stylish two story beach house that's so close to the ocean action in Whale Bay that you can watch the surfing action from your deck and walk to the waters edge in moments. A perfect spot to hang on the deck and watch the West Coast sunset over the Tasman Sea.
The ocean and surf views overlooking the bay and heading north up the coast are hard to beat with world class surf breaks at your front door. Enjoy the secret spa & outdoor shower area.
Sleeping Situation: 2 bedrooms sleep up to 6 people. The master bedroom upstairs has a queen sized bed with ensuite. The large downstairs bedroom has 2 queen sized beds.

It's only a short walk to Manu Bay for swimming, surfing and access to the boat ramp. Ngarunui Beach and Wainui Reserve is a short drive away (makes a great walk too). Guests receive free access to the Karioi Outdoor Centre, located in a 110 acre nature reserve also a short walk away, featuring a Scandinavian Sauna, sensational viewing platforms, sports barn with table tennis, bush walks & Mt Karioi tramps, organic produce including free range eggs, glow worm & other wildlife viewing. Guests of the Horizon Lodge will get a discount for the half day beginner surf lessons and half day board and wetsuit hire with the Raglan Surfing School.
