There are also other nearby beaches that are worthwhile visiting, as well as regular ferries going to Waiheke Island from nearby Half Moon Bay. Howick Village shops and cafes are a 2 minutes drive away and the Farmers Market on a Saturday morning is a must. Botany Town Centre is 10 minutes drive away and offers a great selection of shops and cinemas.
