You can stop looking - you?ve just found it?the Tree House Retreat. This is a real back to basics A-frame bach, designed for outdoor living?recently renovated for a more clean modern feel.

There are three bedrooms downstairs with a new bathroom, the middle level has a huge deck which extends the living space and from which you can hear the waves on the beach and get a peep of the sea, the mezzanine has a double bed and games area.

It?s an easy stroll to a super safe all tide swimming beach, which has a park, playground, picnic facilities.

? Put the boat in Leigh Harbor less than 5 mins away or spectacular fishing and diving access to the outer gulf islands.
? New Zealands best snorkeling in our oldest marine reserve at Goat Island plus amazing diving. The Glass Bottom Boat runs for those not keen on getting their feet wet.
? At Tawharanui Regional Park you can surf or scuba and freedivers can hunt for scallops in summer. For surfers it is a 20 min drive to Pakiri or Omaha surf beaches (including Tawharanui) or Takatu Peninsula and discover Anchor Bay, which is great for swimming, boogie boarding, surfing and rock pool exploring.
? Numerous coastal walking tracks, golf at Warkworth and Omaha plus wineries and cafes galore (The Sawmill Cafe, The Rusty Pelican, Matakana Heights Vineyard, Morris & James Cafe, Herons Flight Vineyard, - just to name a few).
? Last but by no means least is the famous Matakana Markets each Saturday?and just down the road is undoubtedly the best bakery for miles?all within easy driving.

The bach is fully equipped, you just need to bring your own linen, its is up a shared driveway and there is parking for two vehicles under the deck.
