Resplendent above the township of the quaint and historic Port town of Lyttelton Fitz Roy Head offers something of even greater importance now than even a mere few months ago in those distant pre-quake days. It is a short and pleasant commute to the city via the road tunnel, and has the energetic hub of London St in the town centre a short drive or energetic stroll away. While this centre is not what it was, the vibrancy it enjoyed before will come again, such is the resilience, the enthusiasm, and the great love of Lyttelton held by local business owners and their clientele. The lifestyle of this quirky Port town, on the doorstep of a major city, and one that is facing an extremely exciting period of its life, and close to an international airport is one of opportunity. It is nature s natural playground offering beaches, walks, biking, historic richness, rest and tranquility as well as a buzz of culture and the arts.
