'Haus Dachstein' - Modern, warm and comfortable Chalet

You will love this modern, new Chalet! Named after our family's home region in Austria, it is surprisingly roomy and spacious, with comfortable beds and tastefully decorated. It is double-glazed, well-insulated and fitted with a heat-pump ( in addition to electric oil heaters in the bedrooms) which all help to ensure that you are warm and cozy for your winter holidays. An 'Infinity' gas hot-water system ensures an unending supply of hot water too.

It has a lovely rural outlook and when you turn the lights out after a hard days skiing - it is QUIET! Yet all the restaurants and activities are only a short stroll or drive away. And of course some of NZ's best skiing is right at your doorstep - as well as a host of other activities available throughout the World Heritage Tongariro National Park.
