I have lived in Waitara all my life and come from a well known local family. I have two great daughters, Casey and Tiaan, who keep me on my toes and my feet firmly on the ground.

Sport plays a major part in my life - especially my netball. I am currently involved with Raukura Netball Club and have been for coming up thirty years - mostly as a player and recently as a coach of which I am very proud. Both my daughters play, so I guess that begins the next chapter. We are very sports-orientated and do a lot of travelling around supporting the different interests the family are involved in.
