Forty years of living in the Wakefield and Richmond areas and ownership of several properties gave Neil a sound base on which to develop a career in real estate and he has achieved considerable success in the field. He was top salesperson for Harcourts Richmond in 1990-91 and 1991-92, earning a gold bar within 18 months. He achieved $10 million in sales in 1992 and became part of the Professionals $1 Million Club in 1996.

In 1997 Neil took advantage of the opportunity to become part of the First National team.
Neil believes his move to First National also gave him the opportunity to continue employing his motto of "Experience, Effort, Service, Satisfaction" and he soon gained Ruby Achiever status (multi-million dollar sales). In 2002 he built on this success, and added Emerald status to his list of achievements. In 2003 Neil continued to demonstrate his considerable expertise in selling real estate by gaining Diamond status and again in 2004 & 2005. Then in 2006 Neil gained a Platinum award.
