A 45-hectare block with free-draining volcanic soils, this property features a modern one-bedroom home built within the old cowshed. The home has not had a change of use at council. It is built to building specifications with varnished plywood walls and ceiling with custom made doors and joinery. The open plan kitchen/dining area and separate living room feature bi-fold doors that open up to amazing rural views. The property also includes a laundry, workshop area with three-phase power and car garaging. Bore water is used to supply the farm and home. It has a very handy concrete area behind the home. The block can carry 80 yearlings and up to R2 age of mixed beef. The fencing is tidy, and techno fencing turns 32 main paddocks into a total of 124. Improvements on the property include a three-bay implement shed, an old cowshed for storage and a hay barn at the back of the property. Access to the home and shed is easy via the tanker track, and a central race makes shifting stock and paddock accessibility simple. Silage is made on the farm, with approximately 80-100 bales produced depending on weather and season. Stock yards include a cattle crush, walking platform and a covered roof with solar lighting. This property is ideal for lifestyle or farming purposes and is conveniently located close to primary schooling and the coast for fishing and leisure activities. It is also just a 35-minute drive through our Waipoua forest to Opononi for the beach and fishing. Aranga is also close to the coast for fishing and primary schooling.
