Two hours north of Gisborne and approximately 10km from Ruatoria, you will find this unspoiled and outstanding block of East Coast regenerative native bush and grazing land.
Bounding the Mangaoporo River, the block entrance encompasses approximately 10ha of flat grazing land with an old woolshed that has been converted for use as accommodation.
The native forest includes Manuka, Kanuka and Rewarewa with the added advantage of being registered under the Emissions Trading Scheme, allowing for an income stream.
The native bush rolls over both steeper and easier contoured land with grassed clearings throughout, natural waterways and the abundance of birdlife. The block also provides wild pigs, Fallow, Red deer, and Spanish goats, this also could become a commercial source of income allowing recreational hunters onto the property.
A covenant is in place on some of the land protecting the native biodiversity and ecosystems. Get back to nature and soak up the tranquillity in a place of beauty that you will not want to leave.
