Nestled in a valley off Kenana Road, south of Mangonui, is this 173.6355-hectare (more or less), relatively well-developed beef breeding unit. It uses low-maintenance input with no supplements and finishes all the stock born on the property. It does have a good balance of river flats, easy rolling hills, to steeper hill country out back. Fences are of a high standard, and with twelve large paddocks, with further subdivision, the stocking rate could be increased. The property has pristine streams running through it, which are used for stock water as well as dams and troughs.
There are mature stands of pine trees that are thirty years old, which could provide milling options or shelter.
The house is a 1980s-built Lockwood that is nestled in the valley and has an entirely off-grid solar system.
Good stock yards and a round barn all add value to this farming operation.
