Ata Mara, Luggate-Cromwell Road and 67G Rush Lane, Mount Pisa, Central Otago

Conveniently located along one of Central Otago's main tourist routes, between Cromwell and Wanaka and surrounded by other renowned labels, this award winning, well-presented and established vineyard includes its own label, web site, and a grape supply contract situated on approximately 25.13 ha (more or less) over two titles across flat and manageable freehold land.

Approximately 15.98 ha has been planted in grafted disease resistant varieties such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Reisling and Gruner Veltliner commencing from 2001. Production is predominantly Pinot varieties followed with Gruner Veltliner and Riesling and Chardonnay, all wine produced comes from a single vineyard. With production averaging approximately 117 tons over the eight last years there is room for expansion, which include nine hectares of curtilage and headlands.

The properties are fully frost protected, utilising a sprinkler system. There is a domestic water supply in place ensuring 17,000 litres per day along with an abundance of water through the Pisa Irrigation Company. This is delivered to an existing 5.0 million litre reservoir nearby. The vineyard is surrounded by rabbit-proofed fences confirming a well-managed operation.

Dwellings across these two properties include a 1950’s home suitable for staff accommodation along with a well maintained one bedroom studio, an American styled barn, an implement shed, and a pump shed.

Situated either side of the main Luggate Cromwell Road being a tourist route with approximately 60% of buyers travelling from out of town, there is genuine opportunity for further development with two resource consents in place to erect a further dwelling and the potential for an on-site tasting room and cellar door operation.

This is a unique chance to secure and further develop one of Central Otago’s most respected vineyards. Should you be looking to expand your existing operation or invest in a lifestyle with a steady income, this opportunity could be your gateway to success.
