This is currently my home. It is warm and welcoming. It is well situated on a lovely block of land in a friendly neighborhood. It is on a quite road that is conveniently located near a primary school, the train station and local shops.
My home is warm and dry. I have recently had it entirely repainted in neutral colours. It has a feeling of warmth and comfort. It has two levels leading from the kitchen down to the living room which gives it the feeling of spaciousness. One of my favourite features of my home is the large bay windows which allow the Sunshine to pour inside. There is a comfortable seat in the window which I find the perfect place for reading a good book. I have heater in the lounge which delivers a warm glow to my home even on the coldest days. My home is dry throughout the year.
I have a greyhound. I find the backyard is suitably large for her to stretch her legs. However, one of the nicer aspects of my home is that it is within a short drive to a lovely beach and well managed river walks: perfect for an afternoon stroll with my dog.
My home would be perfect for a young family. It is on a quite street where the children could play on their bicycles. It is a short walk of about 15 minutes to the local primary school. If you work in Wellington like I do, the train station is around the corner from the primary school. The local shops are only a 5 minute drive away.
I have three bedrooms each with a double bed. Two of the rooms have built in cupboards and the master bedroom has a walk-in closet and an ensuite. One of the rooms has a desk that I have used for remote work.
I am essentially leaving everything in my home that I use daily except for personal items so that you know that you can just walk in and feel at home. Everything you would expect is in place and working.
If you have small children or a dog you will find that the back yard is covered in a thick carpet of grass and is fenced in.
