65 School Road North, North Taieri, Dunedin City

We proudly present this special North Taieri lifestyle & land package on behalf of the Stevenson family, who following many years of faithful ownership, have decided the time has come to hand over the reins. The unique blend of park-like setting, bespoke family home and farm level capability distinguishes the property and presents a rare opportunity for the discerning buyer seeking this seldomly available quality and location.

Set on 16.5040 hectares, the property lends itself well to a range of equine and agricultural uses with its beautifully laid out network of flat paddocks, sheltered by manicured hedge rows and the numerous established mature trees that the property is well known locally for.

Privately positioned, the homestead, which was built for the Stevenson family, sits amongst a true botanical work of love, with the surrounding grounds created and nurtured to an impeccable standard over much of the previous 40 years, having been a popular venue for many weddings and garden tours, and winning the ODT garden competition on more than one occasion. The distinctive residence was designed by Dunedin architect Ken Warburton, resulting in an innovative, forward-thinking design for this period, with natural materials evident in its build, creating a welcoming home with presence and class, that will continue to be appreciated for many years to come.

Supporting buildings and facilities are to the same high standard and include the 'carriage shed' with workshop and horse loose-box, a three-stand woolshed with covered yards, and the tractor shed, also with loose-boxes attached. Further facilities include a circular horse training area located nearby to the horse paddocks and carriage shed, as well as separate cattle yards.

This much-loved property is one of those genuine quality opportunities that don't come to market often, in what is a tightly held location nearby to Mosgiel and Dunedin City.
