Nestled in the heart of Oratia, this tranquil retreat is an amazing opportunity for the right tenants. We will be away for most of the coming year and want to offer you two bedrooms out of our four bedroomed house on a one year fixed term contract (with an opportunity to extend). The house is available after Anzac Day, however this can be flexible for the right person or couple. For most of the time you will be able to enjoy the whole house, which includes your bedrooms, the kitchen, bathroom, large open plan lounge, and a separate laundry. You will be close to shops and amenities while enjoying the peace and solitude of your rural lifestyle, complete with an unobstructed west facing view – just check out those sunsets.

During the summer, the large north facing deck is perfect for entertaining, with a substantial BBQ and outdoor dining area, alongside a small garden to grow your own vegetables. In the winter, the wood burner warms up the entire house, and we have some firewood available to start you off. The outdoor areas are all low maintenance, so it is easy to enjoy the property all year round. There are two dedicated parking spaces right outside the front door for you to use.

Oratia is in the Waitakere foothills and the community boasts a friendly, laid-back atmosphere with local amenities within easy reach. Become a part of this vibrant West Auckland suburb, where neighbourly spirit and natural beauty go hand in hand. There are plenty of bush walks and the beaches are nearby. You get the best of both a city and a rural lifestyle, as shops, train stations and malls are still close by. You will be 10 minutes to Glen Eden, 15 minutes to Henderson and the northwestern motorway, 25 minutes to Auckland CBD and 30 minutes to Piha beach.
