As Cheap as Chips

If you’re looking for a lifestyle change - if you’re wanting to make the move to sunny Central Otago - but struggling to make the finances work - here’s one for you.

The Lauder Hotel - the beating heart of the Manuherikia Valley - a popular oasis in an often tinder-dry desert - is up for grabs.

There’s a good chance, too, you’ll be surprised just how much you get for your money.

The large main building - full of character and stories - fronts on to the relatively busy State Highway 85, while the always popular Otago Central Rail Trail lies at its back door.

Sitting on 5,944 sqm - that’s enough dirt for a few sheep or a pony - the hotel boasts a quintessential kiwi country bar, toilets, dining area, beer garden, commercial kitchen, living area, four bedrooms, and further bathroom facilities.

That’s right, ‘Lauder’ is as much a home as it is a hotel. A hotel that’s well supported by a core group of regulars as well as tourists - there are 40 beds within walking distance from the hotel’s front door.

Within reason, this property could be anything you want it to be - a hotel, café, home, lifestyle block - the opportunities are endless.

Situated just 35 kilometres from Alexandra - this is a great opportunity to own an iconic, yet very affordable property in a fantastic rural community - in a beautiful part of the world.

3313 Lauder - Omakau Road - your future starts here.
