75 Rockview Road, Alexandra, Central Otago

Olive greens. Rust oranges. Golden yellows.

Alexandra’s Rockview Road Autumn hues, mountain and valley views, are almost edible.

This is a special place. A place where simply being feels good. A place worth taking a chance on.

So, what’s on offer?

We’re talking 16 hectares of productive ground just minutes from town. Currently, most of that dirt homes thousands of trees and a lucrative organic apple orchard. Fuji, Jazz, Honey Crisp, and Pacific Queen – crisp organic apples that are enjoyed at home and abroad.

Number 75 Rockview Road could be run as an orchard – there’s even space for more trees – but it’s also screaming out for a house or two.

Potentially subdividable, this block comes with two domestic water rights through the Long Gully scheme as well as 12 hectares of irrigation water through the Manuherikia Irrigation Company.

The pond and water pump are already in place, while power is close by.

Then there’s the potential building sites to go with a subdivision. Elevated, north-facing, with 360 degree views out over the Dunstans, the Hawkduns, the Raggedy Ranges, the Old Man Range, and the Manuherikia Valley.

You’d seriously struggle to find better.

So, if horticulture isn’t your game, this is still a fantastic opportunity for a developer or anyone wanting to secure a stunning piece of paradise on the outskirts of a great wee town.

If you’re interested – don’t sit on your hands – this one will go as fast as the apples it produces.
