Rostriever is a 2,262 hectare Pastoral Lease property held under Section 83 of the Land Act of 1948 with a perpetual right of renewal every 33 years.
The main Rostriever property is located just west of the Otematata township.
Rostriever is currently farmed as a high country fine wool and lamb hogget finishing property and is bisected by State Highway 83 with the main block bordering Lake Benmore offering exclusive water frontage and private bays.
A high standard of fencing with three main hill blocks and 18 smaller grazing paddocks completes the main hub block of Rostriever.
The balance of Rostriever is situated on the southern side of State Highway 83 which is of a stronger soil type.
A successful development program has been put in place with the lower arable downlands subdivided with new fencing and the establishment of healthy lucerne stands and the development of 51 hectares under pivot irrigation.
