2265 State Highway 49, Ohakune, Ruapehu

Want a beautiful property with room to move? Look no further! Our vendors are downsizing after absolutely loving bringing up their children here and enjoying everything it has to offer. Located only five minutes drive from Ohakune township, this 216sqm (more or less) home sits on a 1.21Ha property. The views are exceptional, with a huge view of Mt. Ruapehu to the north, and a magical view of Mt. Taranaki over rolling farmland to the west. And this property is surrounded by the neighbouring farm, so there'll be no neighbours cluttering the views and the peace and quiet.
This is a perfect family home that really is so spacious. Downstairs is the hub of the home and mostly open plan, with the kitchen, dining and lounge having a seamless flow. So warm, with both a wood burner and a heat pump. The huge master bedroom is off the lounge with a double wardrobe and ensuite. At the rear of the house is another bedroom and a mudroom, laundry and small bathroom which has entry from the backdoor, so practical after a day in the paddocks or the garden. Upstairs are three more generous rooms and another bathroom and separate toilet. And throughout, there's plenty of storage space.
The land is basically divided into three spaces. The front paddock and the back paddock are connected by a laneway on one of the boundary lines, and the middle is the home, garage and well established gardens. There are sheds and more sheds and so much more.
It's a lifestyle dream so close to town, it's on the school bus route, fully fenced, a wonderful family home and a great place to congregate and enjoy everything this stunner has to offer.
Come and see for yourself!
