Hagan Forest presents a quality forestry opportunity in Waitotara, Whanganui, combining a meticulously tended second-rotation crop with proven productivity and favourable harvest characteristics.
The 72.52ha freehold property supports approximately 72ha of Radiata pine across 2004, 2011 and 2018 age classes, with all stands high pruned to 6.5m. The previous rotation reportedly averaged approximately 600 tonnes per hectare, demonstrating the productive capability of the site.
Predominantly flat to gently undulating contour enables entirely ground-based harvesting, while established internal roading and strategically located skid sites provide a strong foundation for future operations. With further production thinning potential and good access to established processing and export markets across Taranaki and the lower North Island, Hagan Forest offers a well-established forestry asset with strong productive fundamentals.
