Kintail comprises 456.3139 ha of well-established North Canterbury hill country, offering scale, varied contour and practical livestock infrastructure approximately 5 km from Waikari.

The property rises from rolling downs along McRaes Road through to steeper hill country, with a mix of north-facing early country and sheltered southern faces. This balance of contour and aspect provides a range of grazing environments suitable for sheep and cattle.

Kintail has formed part of a diversified sheep and cattle operation, carrying breeding and finishing stock. More recently, the block has also been used to rear more than 600 dairy-cross calves, demonstrating its versatility.
