Bring Lone Star Back To Palmy

Here is a rare opportunity to bring one of Palmerston North’s best-known restaurant brands back to the city – in a brand-new purpose-built venue right on The Square.

A new Lone Star restaurant is planned alongside the new TRYP Hotel, incorporating elements of the former Highflyers building façade while creating a completely new hospitality space behind it. Everything will be brand spanking new, giving the incoming operator the chance to launch Lone Star back into Palmy from an impressive new home.

The location brings another major advantage. Sitting alongside the new hotel creates the opportunity to service hotel guests as well as locals, visitors, groups and the loyal Lone Star following that already exists in the city. It’s a combination of an established national brand, a prominent central location and a completely fresh start.

The landlords are contributing towards the fit-out, however prospective owners should anticipate an investment approaching $1 million to bring the restaurant to life. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced hospitality operator, investor or passionate hands-on owner with the drive to build something special.

Why this opportunity stands out:

• Bring a popular and proven restaurant brand back to Palmerston North
• Brand-new, purpose-built restaurant
• Prime position on The Square
• Adjoins the new TRYP Hotel, providing access to an additional guest market
• Landlord contribution towards the fit-out
• Full support and systems of the established Lone Star franchise
• The opportunity to create a substantial hospitality business from day one.

Palmy knows Lone Star. Now it just needs the right person to bring it back.
