Cnr Whanganui River Road and Otunui South Road, Taumarunui, Ruapehu

Located approximately 16.5 km from Taumarunui, near Otunui Landing, this 93 hectare ex-forestry block fronts State Highway 43. Previously planted in pine, the property has now been harvested and is ready for a new owner. The block has good tracking throughout, with established access directly from State Highway 43, and the Otunui Stream running through the property. With the forestry now harvested, the land offers potential to replant it for forestry or a change of use, including the possibility of being developed back into pasture for farming. Advances in virtual fencing and wearable livestock technology may also provide options for managing cattle across the block. Alternatively, the property could appeal as a recreational holding, with scope to establish native plantings and create a private rural retreat over time. A substantial 93 hectare block with good access, a natural waterway and a range of potential future uses.
