This private, 13.809ha (more or less), get-away retreat is located at the end of Okirae Road in the Fordell/Mangamahu district, approximately 45 kilometres from central Whanganui.

Fallow, Sambar and Red deer are often seen frequenting this secluded block. Including an unconsented hunters’ bach, with a cosy wood burner for those chilly nights, providing excellent accommodation for weekend expeditions.

The forest includes approximately seven hectares of second rotation, post 1990 pine trees planted in 2017 and a further five hectares of 29 year old Macrocarpa trees, all registered in the ETS, carbon predictions are available.
