The morning starts golden here, with first light rising over the Hen and Chicken Islands (Taranga and Marotiri). The tūī are in the pōhutukawa before you're out of bed, and you can hear the waves on the rocks below.

This 524 sq m section sits behind a private gated driveway near the coastal walkway between Waipū Cove and Langs Beach, one of Northland's most loved stretches of coastline. Residents share extra parking for boats, and from your gate the track leads past layered rock formations and quiet coves to the beach, all within walking distance. Take a rod down to the rocks for an evening fish, or dive the clear water off the point when the sea is calm.

The hard work has been done. The section has been cleared, retained and landscaped, so you can walk the land and picture the home you want to build. Look out past the pōhutukawa to the Hen and Chicken Islands and Sail Rock, and on a clear day, all the way to Little Barrier Island (Hauturu-o-Toi). Let the design follow the view.

Bush and ocean in front, and the Langs Beach lifestyle just a short stroll away.

Come and stand on it. Photos only show so much of a coastal site. Walk the section with Team McKenzie and we'll talk you through the land, the possibilities and what it takes to build here.
