This one is definitely a project - but what a project it could be! Set on approximately 1,019m2 (more or less), this former Manunui Four Square is a genuine piece of local history. In fact, the building was immortalised by artist Bill MacCormick in his painting, 'Country Town.' The existing "home and income" building is now seriously run-down and will require a major overhaul, so bring your tool belt, your vision and your imagination. But there's more to this site than just the building. Head to the rear and you'll find a surprisingly lovely garden with a beautiful northern outlook towards the Whanganui River. With a generous section, river views and a fascinating history, this is an opportunity here to create something entirely your own. To be auctioned 1:00pm Thursday, 29th October, 2026.
