Sits a family home on a Silverstream hill.

Three bedrooms await, with space to spare,

And a master suite with an ensuite and walk in wardrobe to share.

Elevated and bright, with views that delight,

Double glazing keeps warmth in, snug day and night.

When winter winds howl and the cold starts to bite,

The log burner glows, so cosy and bright.

Step outside to the bush, where the tūī sing,

With kererū and ponga ferns flourishing.

Off-street parking makes every day easy,

And the setting is peaceful, leafy and breezy.

Come see the laundry chute, a clever delight,

Where the clothes drop away and, in dreams, come back right,

Washed and folded and ready, or so the kids say!

(Alas, that's a fantasy, but it brightens the day.)

Meticulously maintained, with outdoor appeal,

You'll be impressed the moment you feel

The pride that's been shown in each corner and wall,

A home that's been loved by one family, through it all.

Close to the Silverstream shops, the school and the bus,

Green spaces nearby, with no need to fuss.

Now it's time for the next family to arrive,

And make happy memories, as this one did, to thrive.
