2211 Blackmount Redcliff Road, Whare Creek, Southland

Whare Creek Station is a substantial and highly regarded sheep and beef property encompassing 2,359 hectares of freehold land together with currently a further 120.8 hectares of leasehold, situated in the sought-after Te Anau Basin beneath the iconic Takitimu Mountains. Formerly part of the historic Redcliff Station, the property offers an outstanding balance of productive flats, rolling easy contour country, and extensive hill terrain, creating a diverse, resilient, and highly effective farming platform.

Currently operated as a large-scale sheep and beef enterprise, Whare Creek winters approximately 18,900 stock units in total with a well-balanced mix of sheep and cattle. Improvements include four dwellings, two woolsheds with covered yards, and a comprehensive range of supporting farm infrastructure, all contributing to the efficient day-to-day management of the property. Over many years, Whare Creek has established a strong reputation for both production excellence and environmental stewardship, earning recognition through the Century Farm Award and the Southland Ballance Farm Environment Awards.

Properties of this scale, quality, and location are seldom brought to the market, presenting a rare opportunity to secure a significant Northern Southland pastoral asset with proven farming performance, recognised environmental credentials, and enduring long-term capital appeal.

Open Day - Thursday 5 November starting at 11am, finishing at 12pm.
