A Rare Aviation Asset

An established aviation facility at Rangiora Airfield, offering substantial privately owned hangar improvements together with the associated leasehold interest.

The facility provides generous enclosed space for aircraft storage, with substantial timber framed construction, high stud clearance and broad internal spans. The expansive concrete floor comfortably accommodates multiple aircraft and provides considerable flexibility for aviation related use.

Adding another dimension is an elevated observation lounge above the hangars, accessed internally by staircase. Positioned to overlook the airfield, it provides a natural place to relax, watch activity on the field or gather with fellow aviation enthusiasts.

The property includes approximately 514sqm (more or less) of leased land together with a 90sqm (more or less) apron, providing direct connection with the airfield. The lease commenced in September 2024 for an initial 11 year term, with further renewal rights extending the tenure to 31 July 2057, subject to the terms of the lease.

The property currently provides a nominal rental income, with vacant possession also available, offering flexibility for an owner/occupier or purchaser seeking an established aviation base.

For an aircraft owner or aviation enthusiast seeking a substantial and established base at Rangiora Airfield, this is a rare opportunity to secure a facility of genuine scale with long-term tenure.
