388 Blackstone Hill Runs Road, Becks, Central Otago

Bendhu is a sizable Central Otago farming property offering well-balanced contour, scale and irrigation, combining lucerne flats, productive grazing and quality improvements. Located in the Becks area 22km to Omakau and 49km to Alexandra. Bendhu has the infrastructure and capability to support a wide range of farming systems. Currently operated as a successful sheep and beef trading, and finishing property, Bendhu winters approximately 3,000 ewes, 900 hoggets and trading cattle. The property has an extensive irrigation platform comprising two centre pivots servicing circa 245 hectares, together with flood and gun irrigation, supported by substantial on-farm water storage.
The farm has a high standard of subdivision, excellent laneway access and supporting farm infrastructure, including a four-stand woolshed, sheep handling facilities and cattle yards. Complementing the farming operation are two dwellings, a substantial modernised five-bedroom homestead set amongst established landscaped grounds, alongside a secondary three-bedroom cottage providing additional accommodation.
With approximately 100 hectares of mowable dryland lucerne, secure water resources and contour ranging from fertile flats through to hill country, Bendhu offers operational flexibility and is equally suited to sheep and beef breeding and finishing, specialist beef production, dairy support, winter grazing or fodder production. Properties of this scale, quality, low-cost water and versatility are increasingly difficult to secure, making Bendhu a compelling Central Otago farming investment
