OWN YOUR OWN PIECE OF OTAGO GOLD
Once, people came to this area with little more than a gold pan and a dream.
Today, the dream is a little different.
Imagine owning 4.3 hectares of your own secluded gold-country wilderness, naturally blessed with spring water, mature forest, sunshine and sweeping views across the Palmerston countryside. There are two natural building sites, each offering wonderful views and the opportunity to create your own cabin or country retreat in this very special setting.
Tucked amongst the trees are remnants of the old gold-mining days, a tangible connection to the workers, camps and characters who once came here searching for their fortune.
Now it’s your turn to find your fortune not in gold nuggets, but in land, natural water, privacy and the freedom to build something of your own.
Picture a handcrafted log cabin hidden amongst the hills, a garden watered by your own natural spring, and evenings around the fire as the sun slips behind the hills. A place to escape to, grow things, explore, or simply slow down.
And when adventure calls, Trotters Gorge is right on your doorstep, with native bush, rocky landscapes and walking tracks to explore. Head towards the coast and you’ll find the beautiful beaches of East Otago perfect for fishing, swimming, beach-combing or simply enjoying that wonderful feeling of having the coastline almost to yourself.
Yet for all its sense of escape, Palmerston is only around five minutes away, with Oamaru and Dunedin within easy reach.
Private. Natural. Full of character. Steeped in gold-mining history and blessed with its own spring water.
This could be your own little piece of gold country and your next great adventure.
