Set amongst established native bush, just 15 minutes from Whangarei, this architecturally distinctive home enjoys a sheltered, private setting with glimpses of the harbour through the surrounding trees.

The property has recently undergone extensive renovations, including a brand-new roof, fresh interior paintwork and a general refurbishment throughout.

Inside, the layout has been designed to make the most of its surroundings. A well-appointed designer kitchen connects with the open-plan dining area, where large sliding doors open onto a wraparound deck overlooking the native bush.

A separate lounge features high sarked ceilings, generous glazing and direct access to the deck, providing a comfortable second living area.

The master bedroom also opens onto the deck and enjoys an outlook across the harbour and surrounding bush. A walk-through wardrobe leads to a stunning ensuite with floor-to-ceiling tiling. Two further bedrooms are positioned on the upper level, both with convenient access to the family bathroom.

A staircase from the deck leads down to a sheltered outdoor entertaining area beneath the home, offering a private space to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

Practical features include a separate laundry with toilet, internal-access garaging, a substantial motorcycle shed and additional covered parking. The established native gardens require minimal upkeep, with no lawns to maintain.

Despite the sense of seclusion, the property is within walking distance of a swimming beach and public tennis courts, with boat launching facilities at the end of the road.
