With dairy farming in the family and having been raised in the fertile North Otago region, Scott has rural blood in his veins. After marrying a Nelson girl and shifting to the region 10 years ago, Scott’s extensive network has grown again.With a career beginning as an officer in the NZ Army, Scott prides himself on always maintaining a solution focused mindset and is not afraid of a hard day’s work. Moving into Education and travelling the world has provided him opportunities to hone his outstanding communication skills and grow his network. Connecting with clients on a personal level and better understanding their specific needs is not only a strength of Scott’s but also what he enjoys most about his work.Having spent time getting his hands dirty across a range of agricultural areas gives Scott a unique perspective on agribusiness. From potato paddocks to the freezing works floor, and vineyards to stock yards, his history of varied experiences gives him a broad understanding of his client’s day to day lives.Scott’s sense of adventure and passion for the outdoors keeps him and his young family busy in his downtime. Whether it’s hunting in the foothills of Murchison, mountain biking down the Rameka track or paddling the Abel Tasman they make the most of being out and about in this beautiful region we are lucky enough to call home.
