I have been involved in Real Estate since 1972. I  was mostly working in Ponsonby and Inner city in those days. I gained my AREINZ qualifications at for this time and had my my own office and staff in Ponsonby for many years and saw it grow from a working class suburb to what it is today and we sold houses that were very basic  and now are luxury homes .We also did a lot of Trades as in swapping assets which worked well when sales were slow. We traded a 65 ft iconic yacht for a motel at $3 mill and houses in different locations and luxury cars as deposit on upmarket homes and also a average car on a starter home unit.  In 1987  I joined FIABCI the International Real Estate Federation based in Paris which has been going for over 70 years and have attended many overseas Conferences and met and  some wonderful people who have become lifelong freinds and have done business with them and sold an Island and Rainforest back in the day. I love people and like selling properties that are a bit different.
