Russell joined the real estate industry in Auckland as a commercial real estate salesperson in September 1987, 2 weeks before the Black Tuesday crash and found the next couple of years as the property market plummeted and continued to go from bad to worse to be a great learning curve.The experience gained stood him in good stead in the years to follow as he moved from sales to branch manager to business owner and at the same time broadening his involvement to rural and residential sales.In 2008 Russell and wife Kathy moved to Papamoa in search of a lifestyle change and are happy to say they have found it and are now committed Bay people.It is his knowledge of the industry and of the legislation relating to real estate and particularly the sales process that Russell sees as a major asset. Being able to guide people through the Sale and Purchase Agreement and in many cases remove some of the mysteries while putting them at ease during the negotiation process is part of being a professional real estate person.Russell believes that a real estate transaction should be a win win situation for all involved.
