Alastair covers leasing and sales within the commercial real estate market principally in the Wellington Region, Dunedin and Invercargill.Prior to setting up AGRE (Agency) Limited - AGRE Commercial and Industrial - he worked for Pelorus Real Estate, REMAX Commercial which later changed its brand name to Leaders Commercial then Leaders Raywhite all under the entity of Leaders in Real Estate and ran an insurance and mortgage brokerage and operated as a tax and compliance accountant.He holds a BCA in Marketing from Victoria University and has numerous papers outside of the major from Otago and Massey universities, the Open Polytechnic of NZ and Otago Polytechnic.

A born and bred Dunedinite, he loves both Dunedin and Wellington.

Among his current interests are golf, opera stage performances, travel, current affairs, and hosting and sponsoring amateur professional events.
