Experience and Expertise

Commerce has always been Lloyd’s career. He began his working life in the ‘rag trade’ and, with his wife Maree, owns one of Tauranga’s longest established and successful fashion stores, Davidsons which Maree manages.

Lloyd’s own residential and commercial investments afford him firsthand experience with multiple tenancies and business owners.

He jointly formed an import/export company, spending time in China and Hong Kong in the process of developing commercial gas infra-red heating. The company was successful in establishing sales and distribution through a major Australian energy company, “Origin” now the owners of Contact Energy NZ.

Lloyd is the Bayleys man responsible for the burgeoning Tauriko  Industrial Business Estate where he works very closely with the developers, IMF promoting the genuine opportunities available in this growth end of the city.

He also applies his wide and extensive local knowledge throughout the region and has been involved successfully in sales and leasing in Tauranga and the wider Bay of Plenty.

Lloyd and Maree Davidson have two adult children and consider themselves fortunate to live in a region where business thrives in line with increasing population and improving infrastructure.
