After more than 20 years working in the Events and Private Members’ Club industries across the UK and Europe, Matt built a career serving some of the world’s most discerning and high-profile clients. Known for his discretion, attention to detail, ability to relate to and engage with anyone, and for navigating complex situations with ease, he developed a natural talent for negotiation and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Drawn back to his birthplace of Auckland, Matt returned with his husband Paul to enjoy the unique lifestyle and natural beauty that New Zealand offers. The couple settled in one of Matt’s favourite lifestyle destinations, Matakana, where they purchased MYO Health Pilates, located behind the cinema in Matakana Village. Matt and Paul quickly became well-known local characters — often affectionately referred to as Matakana Matt and Pilates Paul.

Through his deep connection to the area and the people who call it home, Matt discovered a genuine passion for real estate. He thrives on helping clients achieve the right price for the right property at the right time — ensuring every sale reflects both the value of the home and the goals of the people behind it.
