Tim Meehan has been working in real estate since 2002, primarily in rural property sales across a wide range of farming operations - from four-hectare lifestyle blocks through to large-scale dairy and pastoral farms. Alongside his extensive rural experience, Tim has also successfully marketed and sold a variety of unique properties, including pubs, schools and churches.

Tim entered the real estate industry following 20 years of full-time farming, bringing with him decades of practical farming knowledge and life experience. He offers clients genuine insight into the realities of rural property ownership and farming systems, including dairy, sheep and beef support blocks, and deer operations.

As part of the respected Bayleys team, Tim combines strong local knowledge with the backing of one of New Zealand’s leading real estate brands. Having lived in the Waimate district his entire life, he knows the local area, the farms and the people exceptionally well - in many cases across multiple generations. His approachable nature, empathy and ability to understand clients during stressful or challenging times have earned him the trust and loyalty of the community he serves.

Tim is deeply involved in the local community and believes strong relationships are built through visibility, honesty and long-term connection. He currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Waihaorunga Rural Fire Brigade and is a member of the Waihaorunga Domain Board. Known for his loyalty, perseverance and sense of humour, Tim takes pride in helping clients achieve positive outcomes while building lasting relationships along the way.
