With over four years of experience in residential real estate sales, seven plus years as a new home sales consultant with a local building company, and more than 14 years as a professional real estate and property photographer, Richard offers clients a distinct advantage when it comes to presenting, marketing, and selling their homes.

 Since entering real estate sales, he has successfully sold more than 100 homes. His outstanding results and dedication to his clients were recognised nationally when he was awarded Rookie of the Year at the culmination of his first year in the industry. 

Having lived and worked in Timaru since 2008, Richard has developed an extensive understanding of the local property market and a genuine passion for the region and its people. His background in property photography has given him a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for what makes a home stand out in the marketplace, while his sales experience allows him to guide clients confidently through every stage of the buying and selling process.

Richard is also widely recognised for his commitment to the local community. Over the years, he has played key roles in numerous successful community initiatives and fundraising events, including founding Movember Timaru, helping establish the Timaru Dog Park Trust, coordinating the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, and contributing to the return of the iconic Timaru Soap Box Derby. His dedication to making a positive impact was acknowledged when he received the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year – Local Hero Award.

Prior to entering the real estate world, Richard successfully owned and operated the popular local hospitality business Petite Wine & Dine, further strengthening his connection to the community and local business networks.

When he's not helping clients achieve their property goals, Richard enjoys spending time with his young family, exploring everything the Timaru region has to offer, and getting out and about with Winnie, the family's much-loved Newfoundland dog.
