After completing his secondary education in Hamilton, he went on to graduate from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics, while also studying Finance and Computer Programming. During his university years, he developed a passion for helping others, tutoring students in mathematics and C++ programming.

Following graduation, Pisey chose a different path from the one many expected. Joining his family's bakery business sparked an entrepreneurial journey that saw him build four successful bakeries and cafés of his own, one after the other, over the years. It was this journey that brought him to Huntly, where he has proudly called home for the past eight years. Through his cafés, Pisey has built lasting relationships and become a familiar face within the local community.
