Marlene comes from a farming background having farmed in Brazil and New Zealand. Her husband Gerard became New Zealand Dairy Farm Manager of the Year in 2018. Coming from The Netherlands in the late 1990s, Marlene speaks Dutch, English, German, and Brazilian Portuguese. She also has extensive experience in dealing directly with people from all walks of life. In her previously held positions of vet nurse, dentist assistant, sponsor manager for the Dairy Industry Awards and property manager.

In between farming Marlene and Gerard have managed to set up their own property portfolio. Her passions are real estate and helping people find their dream property/home, her three children and her two pet dogs. Marlene is focused on all real estate and eager to dive into the market.
