
TED PEACOCKE AREINZ
Ted has a broad base of experience in auctions, negotiation and effective real estate marketing gained while working on behalf of his clients in residential, rural, industrial and commercial real estate.
From a contract sheep shearing, fencing and bushfelling platform he advanced his farming career in Hamilton, Taumarunui, Waimana and Reporoa, before diversifying into real estate agency in 1980.
Not being afraid of hard work he set out as a rural estate agent selling orchards and farms in the Tauranga and TePuke area. Having a keen interest in investment property he assisted his clients by using his knowledge and by then effectiveness in all aspects of commercial and industrial real estate.
Having Built an understanding and proven ability in procuring speedy results, over time, brought an offer from a public company, that was, developing commercial property in Auckland, Wellington and Rotorua. He was offered a position on its national development team as its central North Island representative. What followed was a rapid promotion to National Real Estate Development Manager meaning a shift for him and his family to Auckland, all this during the trying markets of the late 1980's.
Ted joined Jenny’s commercial real estate business, Jennifer Peacocke Real Estate in down town Newmarket in 1988 all the while keeping his directorship in a rural real estate company as its Principal. Together Ted and Jenny formed Peacocke Commercial Real Estate.
Family commitments moved Ted and Jenny back to Mount Maunganui in 1992 where he became the licensee and auctioneer for Peacocke & Payne Limited, Later taking up a Harveys Franchise. All offering an added focus for his clients who wished to divest of residential properties. He also re-established his focus on rural real estate in which field he became well known in both close and far off parts of New Zealand.
JENNY PEACOCKE AREINZ
After many busy years in the real estate profession Jenny has accumulated an impressive list of accomplishments and accolades. She has found the Bay Of Plenty market to be a worthy home for her wealth of experience, reinforcing her belief that rewards follow dedicated effective hard work. As a woman in a profession that at the time was dominated by men, her achievements included setting up and directing, to admired effectiveness, her own real estate company in Newmarket, an agency that was well respected in the Auckland office and retail leasing field in the 1980s. In early 1992 Jenny returned with Ted to their beloved Bay of Plenty and the housing market that she so missed with her impressive home town client base. Jenny has indeed done the very hard yards while celebrating with her clients all of the well-earned successes along the way. She is forever being referred new real estate clients who having their own individual challenges demonstrate a need for an effective ally. She brings with her an innate cheerfulness and an enduring love of people. Jenny understands that the rigours of selling a home and that moving to some place new sits right up there as one of life's most stressful experiences.
