As a former farmer, Pam is a resilient, pragmatic and hard-working real estate agent with a rare depth of knowledge of both town and country living.
Taupo born, sporty Pam grew up with a builder for a Dad and initially trained as one of New Zealand’s first women apprentice automotive machinists. She then moved to Hawkes Bay where she met her husband and they then ran farms in Northland together for 17 years. Very much a strongly hands-on person with everything in her life, Pam has, among other things, slashed gorse, fixed tractors, handled stock, built fences and worked in woolsheds. In 2007 whilst living in the Bay of Islands, and in the middle of tough economic times, Pam qualified as a real estate agent selling residential and rural property. She was an immediate success. Pam harnessed her rural skills to assist people moving off the farm into town or “townies” moving to the country seeking a different lifestyle. Her warm nature, love of people and local knowledge of the land meant she could walk the walk and talk the talk. She was top agent in her office for several years running. When she relocated to the Bay of Plenty for family reasons five years ago, she continued to successfully build her real estate business, contributing to Tauranga’s busy residential real estate scene and valuing her involvement in the changing face of the city.
Pam now works as a very busy Lifestyle/Residential agent with Tremains, Tauranga. She loves to take her vendors on a journey – a sale campaign where she has seen premium prices secured in ideal timeframes. She’s always been a trusted partner in the sales process and is a person her clients say that they can rely on to get the job done. She knows that she adds value when it comes to the sale of lifestyle properties and often says that all her life she’s been extremely comfortable swapping her heels for gumboots and back again. She loves entertaining, feeding the masses and having timeout with her husband and kids. She has always had a decent vegetable garden full of produce she can bottle, and she loves to go fishing especially when she comes back with something for the dinner table.
