Jesse offers clients specialist consultancy services covering the national retail market in both the leasing and investment sectors; providing analysis of current and future trends along with expertise in the master-planning of new retail developments. This includes analysis of optimum tenancy numbers and sizes, and advice on achieving the optimum tenant mix to ensure the ongoing success of each centre in order to provide maximum returns for owners, as well as maximising the sale value of assets. He has assisted several clients in adding significant value to their investments, providing analysis of the future outlook for each retail centre and how the retail market in general is changing in terms of the competitive landscape and the future of various retail sub-sectors.Among his many high-profile retail leasing projects have been The Crossing, a large-scale new retail centre in Christchurch CBD, where he was involved in negotiating the lease of a flagship space to H&M (the largest retail leasing deal in Christchurch in 2016) and many other tenancies. He was also instrumental in leasing the EntX cinema complex in central Christchurch, including a 10,000m2 anchor tenancy to HOYTS and 16 separate leases to national and international food & beverage operators.
