Colin Lock took on sole ownership of Professionals Christchurch in 2013, establishing a values-based company ethos which is reflected at all levels of the business and practised by all personnel.  

Colin loves to work tirelessly at ground level to make people’s property dreams happen.  His highly successful sales career has seen him clock up more than $250 million in sales and the old adage “If you want something done, ask a busy person” sums up Colin perfectly.

Colin’s enthusiasm for real estate is matched only by his passion for boats – he is a highly-regarded, competitive sailor and a very active member of the Naval Point Club, Lyttelton.  There are surprising similarities in the skills needed in real estate and those needed for successful sailing: manoeuvring under pressure, exercising sound judgement, reading the conditions and cool-headedness when things get choppy.  But, when there’s a fair wind and a great sail or sale has been experienced, there’s fun to be had at work and on the water.  And, Colin has had a lot of fun over what he calls the ‘wonderful years’ of his chosen career.
