Born and raised in Taranaki, Peter Kelly comes from ruralpedigree. He has owned several dairy farms and been involved in the livestockservicing industry for the past 30 years. Peter not only has an in-depthunderstanding of the needs of farmers, but long-standing relationships in therural industry established over many years. Peter has already achieved some impressive goals in the few years he has beenselling real estate, he was the recipient of the Bayleys national “Rookie ofthe Year Award” in 2017/18, an outstanding result as he was up against country,residential and commercial divisions from across New Zealand. He produced morethan $35 million in property sales for the same period and sits within the top10% of Bayley’s salespeople nationally.Peter has a genuine warmth for, and affinity with rural folk and enjoys workingwith them. The family has landholdings inTaranaki and Peter's father was general manager for a livestock service companyfor many years. His daughter is a qualified veterinarian working in Auckland,one son is a builder and Quantity Surveyor working in Hamilton and the otherhas just finished a four year degree in land and property management at LincolnUniversity majoring in rural valuations. The Kelly's currently reside in TeKowhai and have a maize block on the outskirts of Hamilton. They are activelyinvolved in the Te Kowhai community where Juliet teaches at the local schooland Peter, a former chairman of the school's board of trustees, has headednumerous fundraisers and is a Bayleys ‘Super Giver’ with regular donations tothe Make a Wish fund.Having been involved in at least 10 personal property transitions, Peter knowswhat it's like to be on the other side of the fence.
