Born and raised within rural communities in the Bay of Plenty and being an old boy of Edgecumbe College, Wayne is proud to call the Eastern Bay of Plenty home.

Having had a past career before real estate spanning 25 years in varied industries, including the RNZAF as an Avionics technician based in Auckland, and an aviation company in Canada, dairy farming that took his young family large-scale share milking in the South Island before finally purchasing a dairy farm in Kaikoura, and a corporate role at Tatua dairy company in the Waikato.

Following three years at Tatua, Wayne saw an opportunity to broaden his horizons within real estate and leverage his rural background and knowledge. In 2016 Wayne joined Harcourts Hamilton as a Rural and Lifestyle Sales Consultant. Partnering with a reputable brand, encompassing a high standard of ethics and culture, and implementing the latest technology, was important to Wayne. He proved in a short period to be an effective sales consultant and placed consistently in the top salespeople within the Waikato and Central region for Harcourts.

In early 2019 an opportunity presented itself for Wayne to purchase a share in the Harcourts franchise, ETB Realty, with offices in Rotorua and Whakatane. ETB Realty operates highly successful Residential, Commercial, Rural and Lifestyle and Property Management divisions throughout the greater Rotorua region and Eastern Bay of Plenty.

As an experienced marketer and negotiator, Wayne is passionate about working alongside his team of salespeople and support staff to ensure as an individual, team, company and brand we are consistently delivering the finest experience in real estate. Wayne is also incredibly passionate about supporting the local community through the Harcourts Foundation, sponsorship relationships, charities and fundraising projects. We’re not just a business about property, we’re a business about people.

When not working within the business, Wayne loves spending time with his family and friends. He loves the outdoors and getting away from it all. Nature is a great way to reset, recharge and keep you grounded, and we’re very lucky to have plenty of it at our doorstep.
