In his first year with Colliers International he spent time as the Regional Sales Manager utilising his leadership and business experience and was also awarded Rookie of The Year. Ash started his professional career in banking with Macquarie Bank in 2006 in Sydney, which is where he joined Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) in the Property Finance team. In 2009 Ash transferred back to New Zealand with Westpac in a Credit Analyst role before finally finishing his tenure with the bank as an Associate Director in the WIB team as a Relationship Manager in 2019. During this time Ash acquired a strong understanding of commercial and corporate financing including the assessment of economic, operational, compliance and strategic risk where he negotiated hundreds of complex loan and transactional contracts. This experience and unique skill set has transferred nicely into commercial property, where Ash’s growth mindset continues to find new ways to do business.
